Who is the Soprano in the Kitchen?

I am, well, too many things to write here, but I'll try. I think I can be loosely said to be determined, creative, vocal, thoughtful, kind, forgiving, and a slowly-letting-go-recovering-control-freak.

I'm 30-something, blissfully married since 2000, and the proud momma of a Pembroke Corgi and two peculiar but very lovable cats. I write, sing, direct music and theater, cherish my friends and adore my family.

I am all knowing and totally confused - it all depends on the day and moment I'm living in. I am a people-person who finds people perplexing and tedious far too often. I love to cook and hate to eat bad things...you know who you are chips and chocolate.

I am a Christian and I am extremely imperfect. I belong to my first love Jesus Christ and I am not at all religious. I am fun loving and a pain in the buttocks. I am living contradiction attempting to die to myself in order to live forever.

I have been cooking and baking for forever!  At least as long as I can remember.  I am taught by my mom, a marvelous cook herself, and lately self taught.  I am not afraid to experiment, always using my marvelous husband as a culinary guinea pig.  He's really quite a wonder when it comes to knowing just what a recipe needs when I am stumped.  We love good food that is good for us, too.
